Today, “Tkaronto” (Toronto) is still home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island. We are thankful for the opportunity to work toward the eradication of gender-based violence on these territories.

Feminist Movement BUILDING
Aura Freedom is an active member of numerous networks and coalitions working hard to end gender-based violence and human trafficking globally. Through these networks, we work with our colleagues around the world to amplify the voices of the most marginalized women and girls and build the feminist movement.
Aura Freedom is a champion for grassroots change. We love to foster collaboration through our research, events and projects and also participate in the activities, conferences and events of other feminist organizations. Solidarity is powerful.
We strive to get unlikely colleagues to the same table to work together and break down silos. We engage with civil society, government and the private sector to strengthen and mainstream the feminist movement. Our efforts to prevent GBV are inclusive and barrier-free, fostering solidarity and grassroots resilience.
